El Car Wash - Merrill Road (Johnny Clean)

Johnny clean car wash -Merrill rd I’ve been using Johnny clean for at least 2,years and have 2 accounts , on recent visits I heard something fall off the car. My shark fin antenna was damaged and the cover was missing. I reported this to them and they said we don’t cover antennas (?I said the sign as enter says something different ) it says we don’t cover power antennas. None the less I opted to close all my accounts As there are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage (and forged a signature as if I had acknowledged their damage wavier ) I realize my car my not be new but they caused the damage just the same. I’d rather have a dirty car undamaged versus a clean damaged one

Do not come here unless your car is already clean!! El Car Wash changed all the guts of the wash from Johnny Clean and it does not clean your car. Been with Johnny Clean from the beginning. Loved it. Never had a problem. But these rubber spinners don’t touch your car so they pretty much run water on your car to try to clean it. Some of the high pressure water does not even hit the right spots. This is terrible and they should be ashamed for calling this a car wash. My wife and I spend $70 a month for clean cars and El Car has turned this once great car wash into an El Crapo experience.

I had just finished moving yesterday and needed my car washed and vacuumed. Came in today 3/31/2025 and the young man named Terrell was amazing!! Even though he seemed to be the only one working in the detail area. Thank you for making my car look new again!! Please keep this young man you need more like himself!

We like Johnny Clean, but every time we go, there's a problem with many of the vacuum cleaners. They never have enough power to suction, making it difficult to get a good clean of the car. Even if you let the staff know, they don't give it much thought. The express service area is very large and usually empty. It could be better to implement it for those of us who pay for a membership, since we sometimes have to be out in the sun. I've been a frequent customer for years, and I've noticed these things. If we keep paying, they should give us better service.
